Ruukki Construction delivers steel-based building solutions as well as products and services for roofs and walls with a focus on sustainable construction. Ruukki Construction is part of the SSAB Group and shares its values and long experience in the steel and construction industry. In this position, you will be part of a Scandinavian IT team of about 5 people who work cross-functionally to serve the sites.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

The position is a combined role in operational technology, production IT, and IT technology. You will provide support and maintenance services to Ruukki business units primarily at two sites in Borlänge, Ruukki PIR and Dala-profile, both of which are part of the SSAB Group. In this role, you will work on continuous improvements and participate in area-specific or global IT development activities. Furthermore, you will support the organization with system reliability and availability while maintaining accuracy and consistency. The role involves some travel mainly within Sweden.

In this role, you will work with:

Troubleshooting and networking
Working with PLC, industrial PCs, and similar environments
Providing first-line user support and application support for the group’s IT systems
Handling operational and support cases in the issue management system and documenting processes, routines, and systems.
Ensuring that master data and ERP information is correct, updated, and consistent, and coordinating data with other departments (e.g., sales and purchasing)
Participating in improvement work and driving or contributing to development projects within IT and OT

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a post-secondary technical education in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
Has a good understanding of PLC and industrial IT systems
Possesses knowledge of networking and troubleshooting
Holds a valid driver's license (B)
Has good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as required in the job
